I have been blogging for about a year and a half, with little success. Mostly failure. I started out writing a blog with the sole goal to attract visitors to my writing, but eventually in trying o network for visitors, i decided to add a blog on depression and attempt to make money off my blogs. Nothing happened, it was difficult to keep up with the writing and the article marketing and eventually I added some free content to my sites from article directories.

My sites were deleted by blogger for spam. This discouraged me and I quit for awhile, but i really do hate failing, so I started one site on wordpress and am very pleased with the result, although I still have two or three on blogger wordpress has many plug-ins and tolls which make SEO easier, that blogger doesn’t, so I’m moving to wordpress.

Getting traffic is difficult and keeping up with posts, finding a good affiliate system that actually sells is even harder. I’ve spent lots of hours learning and reading about SEO, sites like your help.

The dedication that you need to have to succeed in this is the same dedication to succeed in anything, the desire not to quit and the desire to learn and fail. i have failed numerous times, but I think that past successes in other areas of my life have shown me that you must often fail several times before you succeed or learn from those that have failed.

      Hi Greg And Welcome…

You are right when you say it takes a lot of time and effort simply because you nee to have many things working together to get it right. Many people fail simply through lack of understanding and usually fail to do any form of research in what ever market they are going after.

I see you also mentioned article marketing, this again is another area that people do not fully understand and as you have said it takes up a considerable amount of time to see any results. Can I say that there is a better way to do article marketing which will get you the results you want but again you have to make the time to learn how to do it right.

From what I can tell you are now starting out on the right foot… have you registered your own domain names now or are you using the free wordpress site to host your blog.

Greg if you need any questions answered make sure you post your comments at our site and i will do my best to help you out.
