Take out the unnecessary pauses and other distracting things in your videos. The faster the pace of your video, the more likely people will watch it from the beginning until the end. Having the same lighting and camera distance will make it easier for you to edit.

  • Add background music.

You can cover problems with sound by adding music. Nevertheless, you have to be wary of copyright issues if you plan to earn money from your video.

  • Put text in your video.

Some people will not view your video on YouTube, so it will be better to include text information that can give an idea to the viewers who you are.

  • Include bloopers.

Viewers will appreciate your videos more with extra scenes that are funny. If it will make your video long, you can make another video for it. Then, you can attach the link to the video itself or the description.

A video that lasts for 10 minutes will bore most viewers to death. Ideally, your videos should only be around 2 to 3 minutes or shorter in order for the viewer to stay engaged. Assess your videos by checking the content. Are there parts that are unnecessary? The introductory part should also be strong enough to hold the viewer’s attention.

To effectively increase YouTube views, you should seriously consider the SEO or search engine optimization.

Your title should be worthy of attention by making it concise and simple. You have to make it Clickbait, which means making your viewers want more by reading it. For instance, “You will not believe what this dog can do…” Include some of your keywords in your title so that it can be more easily categorized on YouTube or Google.

  • Description

Talk about your video’s content thoroughly and accurately in two or three paragraphs so that you can pique your viewers more in watching your video and subscribing to your channel. This is also an opportunity to utilize as many keywords as possible. As a result, your videos will be easier to search.

  • Keywords

You can come up with 3 to 4 keywords. However, the more keywords you have the higher chances are that people can stumble upon your video.

  • Tags

Your tags determine if one of your videos can be suggested after another video ends. Thus, it is advisable to put the specific or single-word keyword first because it has higher importance.

Interacting with your audience is important since they are the core to boost YouTube views. You can do this by persuading them to leave comments and of course, you have to take note of them. Your audience will keep on coming back if they realize that their opinions are heard.

You can boost YouTube views by commenting on a video relevant to yours. You can do this by including your video link to your comment. This is especially effective when you leave one in viral videos like Psy’s “Gangnam Style” music video.
