Make Sure Your Freelance Writer Suits Your Online Business Needs

July 16, 2009 By Ron 2 Comments

It can be challenging as an affiliate marketer to find that right freelance writer.

Especially one that can help you create quality written material that will increase your monthly affiliate commissions or even Adsense earnings.

But it is really worth the time to find a suitable freelance writer so that you are free to research and create new money sites that will help to increase your online earning revenue. If you locate one though, that can work with you on a frequent basis, and you can get along with them, then the effort was well worth it.

One service that I have used in the past to write article for my article marketing and which has a reasonable rate for creating or re-writing articles is a site called need an article.

finding a freelance writer

Always Ask For Sample Articles

When you set about your search, begin with sample written articles so that you can stop using any authors that you are not happy with.

You have to remember that there is more than one style of writing articles and you may discover a writer that excels in just one of those spheres and less than outstanding in others.

There is no rule to marketing that states you can have only one writer in actual fact you would probably want about a dozen or so all expert in different fields so that you can market to a much larger internet audience.

What Writing Skills Should You Be Looking For

Some of the different kinds of writing skills that a freelance writer should have are technical composition, sports writing, copy-writing and news composition. Even though an author may be highly skilled in one field, many freelance authors have been known to spread themselves out into other areas as well. It is essential however that you find a freelance writer that can present to you quality content in the niche that you are promoting in.

Finding The Right Freelance Service For You

If you have done any research at all online then you would have found out that there are many freelancing sites that you can look though to locate a freelance author that will compose your niche articles for you and usually within your requested budget.

A quick tip for this is to find three or four freelance writers that meet your requirements then get each of them to write an article for you, yes this is going to cost you some money but at the end of the day you will also have the right freelance writer and four articles that are going to help you make some money firstly by publishing the best one to your site and secondly with the remaining three going to article directories to generate one way back links, that way you costs were not wasted.

Remember any articles that are written for you should also become your property and are not to be used for anybody else, you need to ensure this is the case with any of the freelance writers you employ or freelance service you decide to use so read and be clear on all terms of service that is imperative.

Some of these websites like Elance permit you to obtain bids and written samples of work from a pool of authors so that you can access their writing skill. The most beneficial way for you to do this is to pick the author that delivers to you a sample of the kind of niche article you are going to ask them to compose for your affiliate or article marketing and online business.

For instance, if you are searching for a copy-writer, do not hire someone who only sent you a sports writing taster. The sample they send you may be outstanding, but if it is not what you are searching for it is not going to help you get clients and establish sales.

At the end of the day it simply comes down to this, the more you are willing to pay for a written article, the more bids you will get from quality freelance writers who know how to create web copy as well as giving your site visitors the information they require so that they keep coming back to your website for more of the same information. You need to understand when hiring a freelance writer that he or she will know exactly that you are going to make adequate money off of each of their articles that they write and supply for your online business.

Understanding that for a 500 quality word article the cost is going to have to cover the writers time and effort into the composition and the factual research they are supplying to you. When you pay for quality you get quality, and that quality will help you make money online whether it’s from affiliate programs or Adsense advertising.

Remember if you are not prepared to pay a fair price you are likely to end up with some dusted off PLR articles which have already been circulated all over the internet. Treat your freelance writer with respect and fairness and you will be growing your business as an authority site in no time at all.

It is true that, the more you are willing to pay for a written article, the more bids you will get from quality freelance writers.

      Hi James,

Yes what you are saying is right, if you are willing to pay more for the article to be written you will attract more writers however there is no guarantee when doing this that it will be of a high standard. Once you find a good writer it is a very good idea to stay with them.
