Can Blogging About Rumors Make You Money

September 7, 2009 By Ron Leave a Comment

Blogging is just a new world way of saying gossip.

When you got caught in school passing those notes your teacher would always scold you and tell you that they were a waste of time and would get you no where. Well, there are a slew of bloggers that would like to disagree. Blogging about rumors can make you money.

Use Popular Topics To Post To Your Blog

There are a lot of parallels between a profitable blog and a popular gossip. The first correlation is popular content. In order to make money blogging you have to get traffic to your blog. In order to get traffic to your blog, you have to fill it with popular content.

Blogging About RumorsThings that people want to know and things that people are entertained by.

The best blogs are like drugs. You can’t wait to visit it daily to see what the new entry is all about.

Just like a good gossip, even though you know you should resist, you just can’t wait to hear the latest. It is not that dissimilar.

Everyone always knew what the best gossip is in school. They have promoted their craft by spreading plenty of valid and interesting stories on a regular basis.

Everyone knows exactly who to go to for the best and juiciest information. The need to network like this is also applicable to blogging. As a blogger you must also ensure that the stories are exactly what the audience wants to read about.

You also have to keep those stories coming because just like gossips, if the information dries up, there are plenty of other people willing to steal all those eager readers that you have worked so hard to earn with your blog.

Make Sure Your Gossip Is Current And Hot Off The Press So To Speak

Gossips are always current. It is an acquired skill for sure. The minute that a story evolves they know it. You must also strive to be this current as a blogger. No one wants to tune in to a story that they have heard already last week, yesterday and in a lot of cases earlier in the day.

The internet is that fast and operates at real-time. You always want to know how they know things so fast and are amazed at the accuracy of the dish. A good blogger must also posses this skill. It doesn’t matter what the niche is or the information is. It has to be current and I mean like really current like the catch of the day.

How To Find The Hottest Gossip

You can find most of the popular gossip out online from various blogs. Once you locate the buzz of the day, you simply take what you find on the net and put it in your own words with your own flare and you have your blog post for the day. You may be surprised at how many people are looking for the latest word on the street.

So, if you were one of those gossips in school maybe you have missed your real calling in life. There are so many comparisons that it is freaky. If you were a good gossip, chances are that you have all the skills needed to make a popular, entertaining and not only a fun blog but a profitable blog.

Don’t Confuse Blog Gossip With Personal Online Attacks

A word of warning however especially if you are an affiliate marketer when we say gossip we are not talking about attacking or putting someone down online this is also known as cyber bullying and it can damage your reputation online and your blogging efforts very fast. Especially if you have received the information second-hand so it might not really be correct to start with.
