Why Using Unique Article Content Can Ensure Success As An Affiliate Marketer

March 23, 2009 By Ron 10 Comments

Update: 15th December 2013 – If you have used any of the article submission services mentioned in this post such as Unique Article Wizard you may find, as I did, that many of the articles are still being used but all the links removed. Another issue this has caused is now a significant amount of duplicate content making any articles you do have with live links less valuable and in some cases may even cause your site to be penalised.

Webinar 3 – 3 Step Strategy for Making 112k per Month

Creating quality content for your affiliate marketing strategy should be geared toward long-term traffic through search engine optimisation.

The information you are releasing should be directly relevant to the product or service you are promoting. This draws the search engines to your website and visitors to your informative, unique content, and then the affiliate links can go to work in generating traffic to the merchant website and of course sales to you.

Unique Article Content

Many people will never even get square with their affiliate marketing efforts, it’s a tough business, and you need to be aware of this. You can expect some people to make a considerable income while others flounder and just fade away. Understanding the game is the key to your success as a super affiliate.

Make it a daily ritual to find more profitable keywords using a program like Wordtracker is the best for this with the result being more customers visiting your website.

Keep Looking For Profitable Markets

When you have discovered the first profitable market find the next, as you’ll have to keep probing for new keywords to add to your list. Continue to update old content and write new content as the algorithm of the major search engines will reward your site with better search engine positioning over time.

Always Test And Track Your Campaigns

You should be business-like about testing and tracking. If you are not actively tracking your campaigns, you won’t know which keywords are pulling in the customers, and your marketing efforts and profits will be less effective. When we say track, we mean tracking everything including website copy and even your PPC (pay-per-click) ads if you are running them. You should employ this data to improve your tactics day after day.

Visit the Unique Article Wizard and see the results for yourself.

It’s a never-ending story and one that you’ll be re-writing over and over again. Keeping up on marketing industry news is vital. There are always forums or articles in high quantity that you can read that will keep you well-educated and informed on product releases and market trends in your niche.

Move on the offence and test conversion strategies and tactics at every chance.  Throw PPC advertising into the mix, look into banner ads, classified ads, offline media, forum boards, or anything your imagination produces. Use a service like Unique Article Wizard and to mix it up there is a service called SimplyPLR that you can use as well to publish and circulate unique content to blogs and article directories automatically with a link back to your site which will send leads and traffic through to you.

Make Sure You Have An Optin Form On Your Site

Once you have the leads visiting your website, it is essential that you collect their email addresses for future campaigns and marketing activities, and try different types of link and graphic headlines to get them to subscribe. Bear in mind that this is a venture just like any other.  To be successful with affiliate marketing or any business venture, have to be on top of the game constantly.

To be successful at affiliate marketing, it helps to be passionate about what you are doing. Sadly, too many individuals start out with the wrong attitude about what it takes to be a top 10 affiliate.

Marketing other merchants products and services online can be challenging as well as rewarding, but there’s a straightforward equation that has to be followed remember the Golden Rules Of Affiliate Marketing – refine your tactics and correct what is not working, you can only do this if you know your online business.

It doesn’t matter what the venture is; the ones that succeed in this business are the individuals who are best prepared.

I like your post yet something is really making me ask…

What makes wordtracker good for pro?
I’ve always seen google keyword tool as a good source for getting relevant keywords yet mostly pro’s like you tells that wordtracker is a good one.
May I ask exactly what is there that makes it better among the others?

      Hi Hazel

This all comes down to a matter of choice but i have found a lot more success when using wordtracker to analyze any keywords as it gives you information on how many competing websites that keyword is going to be competing against. As well as being able to dig much deeper into a niche when looking for keywords to use in your SEO. This also includes being able to separate keywords in YAHOO, BING and Google.

The free tools also work, however there are much more time consuming to actually find the results that you want. I also use Market Samurai to do this as it is only a one time payment and you get lifetime updates.

Create a list of email and provide free e-courses, reports, or electronic books. If you have a list, which are able to remain in regular contact with your prospects and support your affiliate products and programs for them.

Yes you are right, it is important to offer some sort of helpful incentive to grow your email list.

Another thing to remember is that you should not start marketing to your subscribers until you feel you have a trust relationship established.

Awesome post here! Great and unique content really grab readers attention and make them stay reading for more. Once you have them reading your blog do not end your article just like your saying goodbye or “THE END”, make it more exciting like putting up “to be continued” or put a link of an article you created that is so close to the recent one. Then your readers will be begging and looking for more articles to read.
    Thanks for the post! Cheers!

When it comes to content I think it is not just a matter of uniqueness but also a matter of how useful or good it is. I noticed the content that is highly informative and generally a great read stimulates people to comment and link to it – that means more content and more links.
