How To Increase Your Website Traffic On AutoPilot

November 2, 2009 By Ron 12 Comments

What I am going to show you today is a site promotion strategy that I have been using for the last few months to increase website traffic to any website virtually on autopilot.

One of the biggest problems for webmasters online today is getting other sites to link to their content without having to give a reciprocal link back to increase website traffic.

Reciprocal Linking Is Now Less Effective For Increasing Website Traffic

For those that are utilizing reciprocal linking as a strategy how many of you find that after a month or so  or even sooner that the valuable link that took you hours to get no longer exists on the reciprocated site.

The value that a reciprocal link is given by the search engines today is virtually making your efforts a complete waste of time.

What if there was a better way to build back links to your site to increase website traffic which is not “Black Hat” in any way and can not be tracked by your competitors and can be done on autopilot with only a few minutes a day.

But before we get into how to increase website traffic and I am sure that you have heard it all before so I am going to show you my stats and then you can decide whether or not you want to keep on reading this post…

Increase Website TrafficThis is where you start to see some very positive results as the website traffic starts to grow very quickly and all virtually on Autopilot… However due to the competitive nature of this Niche market  the site can drop down by 4 or 5 places daily.

Before I started using this website traffic tactic aggressively I could move around the Search index in Google by 3 or even four pages each day.

traffic stats image
As you can see from above in one month I have virtually doubled the website traffic to the site in a very short period of time in actual fact I went from 9980 visitors in September 2009 to 19658 by the end of October 2009.

The site was registered in Dec 2008 but I did not start to work on it until March 09 and it is already a PR3 site with many of the internal pages PR1 as well.

An Unexpected Increase In Website Traffic From Technorati

One benefit of this website traffic growth that I didn’t expect or even really take into consideration was that Technorati had also been monitoring my site and my listings had grown considerably with-in their directory as well… The site was now listed as the no.2 ranked site in their top 100 small business category.

technorati topp 100 small business

What does it mean to be listed in the top 100, well at first I really did not know either but when an associate Growmap told me that he had seen my posts appearing in the featured posts area of Technorati which by the way are PR7 pages on average I realized how powerful this strategy really was.

Will Building To Many One Way Links Get You Banned In The Search Engines?

Firstly let me tell you something about link building and especially when it comes to one way link building… Receiving 100’s of one way links into your site each day is not going to hurt you or even get your site banned like many of the Guru’s would like you to believe they are doing it and smashing every competitor they come across.

There is no logical reason for the search engines to ban you if your article appears to be popular and many sites start to link to it. As an example there are many news articles that receive a huge amount of attention (one way links) online every day but they never get banned right, so why would your site.

So What Is This Website Traffic Generating Strategy?

Simply put it is article marketing that we are using to generate this traffic, but it is article marketing with a twist which is what makes it so easy to do… And it has all been accomplished with only thirty articles having to be created.

Something I really need to make clear right now is that these articles are unique articles and not just a collection of PLR articles we have on our hard drives. You can get articles from many places online. We always ensure that any articles that are used are at least 60% to 80% unique.

One way you can do this is by using a program called The Best Spinner which will help you to create your own unique article content to post into the sites below.

[viddy f=’yt_0hk4A8D_lCs’ p=0]

We use two services to get our articles out there and on occasion we also use Ezinearticles as well for special promotions. The services we use are called Unique Article Wizard $67 monthly and MyArticleNetwork $47 monthly both of these services give you access to a huge network of Blogs and Directories where you can submit your articles.

affiliate x files linksUnfortunately I am not permitted to tell you exactly how these services work to increase website traffic but I can tell you that they do work so if you are looking at giving your online business the edge that your competitors don’t, check out the sites that I have listed, yes they are going to cost you money, but if you want results you are going to have to pay for them.

I spent the first few years of my affiliate marketing career trying to do this all for free, it was taking hours of my time to accomplish and what results I am getting now in a month it was taking me a year to do for free.

Depending on your niche and whether or not you are selling your own product or working as an affiliate marketer this is an effective tactic that does not involve spamming the social network sites or having to rely on other sites returning links to your site.

Affiliate X Files currently has 45,780 one way links pointing to the home page and internal pages this will grow by 100 links a day for as long as I wish it to.

If you would like to know more about this strategy please post your questions below and I will give you as much information as I can to help you. We will be also posting information on how to find hot niches for free and what text links (posted) you should be using in your article marketing in the coming week so make sure you subscribe to our site feed to stay updated Subscribe Me.

A very quick update to this post as of 4th November 2009 and another unexpected result from using article marketing is that Google has also allocated Site Links for our site. If your not sure what this is then when you are searching Google™ you will see only the top ranked sites showing site links meaning they are an authority in the selected market

site-links-google
This tactic to increase website traffic works and it is far better than any SEO expert would really like you to believe and at only the fraction of the cost of traditional SEO and online marketing practices. I have had sites as old as 6 years that still do not have Google site links, and this site is only 11 months old at the time of this post and has site links due to my increased website traffic tactics .

One more way to get other sites to link back to your site is actually by creating funny video, or very educational video. Depends of course on the niche. Get people to visit, by initially driving traffic. Have social bookmarking and tell a friend scripts and you can have viral effect.

      Hi Alex

Yes you are spot on with this suggestion when it comes to marketing your site… Videos are one of the best ways to do this and even better if you can add video such as you tube video embedded in the articles. I stay away from many of the social bookmarking sites and even the tell a friend scripts due to the many spam problems you can encounter.

Then I guess I am doing a bad practice because I am using social bookmarking sites to promote my website. I really didn’t know about that.

Yes it takes some time to get it all going but once it starts it virtually goes viral because there are so many webmasters at there that need content to populate their sites you can not help but get back links and grow your traffic.

      Hi Izzi

Yes over the last 12 months I have tested this theory and found that link building is the most effective way. I am not talking about getting reciprocal links as they are not dependable and many webmasters tend to remove your links over time. What has worked the best is using unique articles with links back to your site including the internal pages to get the best traffic and search rankings.

      Hi Neil,

I think the difference of opinion originates from reciprocal liking and sites that use get 100’s of reciprocal links every week. This was seen by the search engines as not natural so it started to loose its effectiveness, and in some cases get you associated with link farms.

One way links however are different as you can not control them and if you write an article or a post and 1000 websites link to that post due to it’s quality then you will get a benefit not a penalty from this.
