Content Creation Easy Tips To Get Started

October 22, 2015 By Ron Leave a Comment

You’re an influential writer or feeling a strong pinch in your pocket?

Content Creation Easy Tips To Get StartedThe majority of affiliate marketers write their content the old-fashioned way – by creating it themselves through extensive market research!

(There are also those that just copy others work, they are bound to fail)

The subject is the best way to inject your personality into your affiliate website and make a valuable connection with your subscribers.

It’s also the surest way to make sure your content is exactly the way you want. But if you haven’t written for affiliate websites before, you might want a few tips about content creation to point you in the right direction.

Have A Big Opening

The headline and the first few sentences of your article are crucial. It’s your chance to excite the reader, grab their curiosity, or promise them benefits for reading your article.

Keep It Simple, Stupid

We all have different writing styles. But the easiest to read content is well, easy to read. Short sentences with only a few simple words convert best.

You should also limit your vocabulary and make sure everyone understands your words. Not a time to show off your writing skills – but it’s a chance to make a sale.

Use Emotional Hooks

People are in love with things that encourage them, get them to laugh, let them in on a secret, free them from shame about a problem they’ve been having, or attack an “elite” enemy above them. If you promise these things in your articles, you’ll get a great response. Always.

Be Yourself

People want to purchase things from someone who has authority on the subject they’re researching. Don’t be afraid to give your own strong opinions or steer people towards one product over another. Too many affiliates are wildly positive about everything because they think it’ll bring them extra money. But you’ll get a stronger response if you’re honest about a product’s flaws or weaknesses.

Another reason we always suggest that you try the product before writing about if one of your site visitors buys a product from your written recommendation and finds it to be of low quality the credibility of you and your website will be in question.

What’s Right For Them?

Chances are, your visitors aren’t homogeneous – they’ve got different desires and levels of expertise. Ask yourself whether the solutions advertised in your articles or products you’re reviewing are right for everyone.

What kind of person are they?

Talk directly to that perfect customer and don’t worry about excluding others. Your commissions will skyrocket.

Have A Smart Structure

The same rules you used writing essays in high school still apply to content creation for your affiliate website. A strong opening paragraph that introduces the topic, then a few paragraphs focused on a single supporting subject, and a conclusion that wraps things up.

Call Them To Action

If you can, don’t just satisfy your readers – end your article with a challenge. Ask them to subscribe, comment, buy, or get involved. If you’ve done your job and solved their problem, they’ll be more likely to act on your instructions.
