The Fast And Easy Way To Have A Money Making Blog

November 16, 2009 By Ron 4 Comments

Over the past year, blogs have grown to be the platform of choice for a number of different reasons.

First and simply, it’s just a lot of fun to be able to share and voice your opinions online about things that interest you with people from all around the world who also share your views or concerns, or even those who have very dissimilar views.

Always keep this is mind you should never forget that your blog traffic is often ready and more than willing to spend money, as well as their time on your blog if you have the right content that assists and provides a solution to a problem in your niche.

To generate blog money it is not hard or impossible and with the right tools it can be accomplished with a little effort.

So How Can You Make Money From Your Blog Activities

blog money imageFirst, smart bloggers know they need to promote advertising space on their blogs. Once you have spent the time to build up the traffic to your blog, it is a good idea to sell advertising on your blog. There are numerous online businesses that are willing to pay money for this form of advertising, and you can often begin making money with these direct deals.

Many experienced bloggers have also realized that sometimes they can generate more blog money this way rather than by promoting an affiliate offer from an organization that takes a cut of your profits.

If you are using a WordPress blog then you can download a free WordPress plugin that will help you manage your paid advertisements called WP125 it allows you to place four ads 125×125 into the ad space of your blogs.

A very effective method that has grown in popularity considerably since the start of 2009 is to make money with blog articles this simply writing articles around your niche and then either submitting them to the many article directories online or even other blogs related to your niche, not only giving you exposure as an expert but generating many one way back links to your site to generate income.

Many have also realized the power of conducting online seminars and courses. Many of the more prominent blogs in different niche markets now offer such programs in the form of free courses in order to make money online. This is where the expert bloggers have found another opportunity to earn more income with the increasing popularity of blogging networks.

There are more and more bloggers coming online every single day and many have realized very fast that it is very beneficial to be working with others to write content and make money with a blog online.

Make sure that if you are promoting affiliate products that your links are visible to your readers.

Bloggers will often make the mistake of placing a tiny affiliate link somewhere on their blog without considering visibility which will on most occasions result in these affiliate links rarely being found or clicked on by your blog readers.

Although you obviously don’t want your advertisements to be annoying and in the face of your readers, if you have found something that will be of great value to your readers, then there is absolutely no reason not to display it in a position that is prominent so your visitors will see it and click on it.

It is nearly impossible to earn blog money if no one is aware that you are selling something. One of the golden rules you need to always be mindful of is that you need to be sure that all advertisements placed on your blog are relevant to the topic you are blogging about.

After you’ve had your blog up and established for awhile, you will hopefully have developed a following of readers. Once this happens and if your blog content is useful you will find that many of your visitors start to see you as an expert in your niche and they will be more adapt to read more of what you have to say and spend money to get the opportunity if it helps to solve or relieve a problem they may be experiencing.

A very effective way to expand your earning potential is to create your own Webinar online or by using such things as, audio, e-books or Youtube videos as these have a tendency to go viral if they are well done this all helps if you decide to create your own information product.

Placing an optin form on your blog will help you to build your own subscriber list, by doing this you can keep your readers informed of industry news and when you create and update new blog posts as well as let them know about any other points you feel would be of interest to them.

To do this, you need to concentrate on building a list of people who are interested in your blog topic (niche) and are willing to spend money. You can do this simply by joining a service such as Aweber or Getresponse and then by adding the auto-responder code to your blog this allows interested readers the opportunity to subscribe to a newsletter that you have created.

If you decide to add this to your money making blog then make sure that everything you send is relevant to your niche and resist the urge to send out to many emails that are just solely promotional, building trust with your readers is key to generating blog money.

Once you have established authority on your topic it really pays much better to offer your own product. It is allot more work at first, but it pays (in our case) 15x more money. Our first online business profits soared when we offered our own method. We have written about this on our new Internet business blog.

      Hi Ev

I could not agree with you more if you have put in the work to get established online whether you are an affiliate or just have a personal site the next logical step should be to create your very own products or services. This is even more viable for those that have been in affiliate marketing for a while as they already should have a subscriber list and have the knowledge and expertise to launch products as they have been involved in the process of doing this already.
