Article Marketing Strategies That Will Dominate Your Competitors Fast!

December 30, 2009 By Ron 5 Comments

Now that your online business has gone live on the web have you considered article marketing as you’ll need to start marketing it correctly.

There are several article marketing strategies that you can try in order to promote your company. But you should make sure that all these things work together to make sure that you’re bringing in customers each day.

Make Sure You Have Joined The Most Effective Article Marketing Directories

article marketing strategiesOne of the best article marketing strategies is to create an account with on an article directory websites such as ezinearticles. When signing up make sure that your profile is as informative as possible as this is viewable by the public and adds to your online authority.

Another area that is equally important is the author box (bio-box) which is a great resource for letting people know about your online business and your writing qualifications. You can also include a link to your website in the bio box.

Find Out How You Can Get Massive Exposure On EzineArticles

However, if you are an affiliate marketer and you want to add nothing more than affiliate links when it comes to your article marketing strategies you are going to find that some article directories don’t allow affiliate links, so make sure that you read the fine print (TOS) when you’re signing up so that your account will not be closed for not following the required regulations.

The most effective strategy for affiliates is to write articles that then have a url link back to what is called their money pages or an initial landing page if the goal of the article is to collect subscribers.

The key to effective article marketing is to be consistent as well. You will need to be writing articles to be published on the web as often as you can. This will keep your business name in the public eye as well as building your business as the authority, and will attract new readers that will turn into clients.

Sometimes You May Need To Hire A Ghost Writer To Do Article Marketing

If you’re not able to write the articles for your own online business as often as you would like, you should hire a ghostwriter to write the articles or website content for you. This way, you’ll know that you’ll have a constant stream of content coming in on the article directories. This ghost writer may also be responsible for writing some of the material for your actual website.

If your business is primarily Web-based, hiring a writer will be one of the best article marketing strategies you can put into play for your business. This is also known as outsourcing and is used by many webmasters today who are managing many different niche websites.

Always Use Your Website URL in Your Articles Bio-Box

You can also include the link or URL to your business in your articles. This will prompt your readers to act, and will let them know the importance of using your products or services. However only some if any now allow you to place your website URL in the article body, and if you do you will find that the URL is given a “NoFollow” from the article directory.

Other article marketing strategies include making sure that all your articles are easy to read. Edit all your material before you make it live on the Web. An edited article is a sign of professionalism, and if your readers continue to see typos in your articles, it is likely that your business will go down.

Make Sure To Pay Close Attention To Your Article Marketing Keywords And Title

Make sure that your title and tag line are attention-getting and engaging when you’re writing articles as well. All of your headlines should attract your readers and pull them in, making them want to read the article and then follow the link in the bio-box back to your website.

This will help to bring other clients to your online business. Another aspect you should consider is choosing about five keywords that are relevant in your niche and make sure to sprinkle them through out the article content.

Starting a blog is another one of the article marketing strategies you should take advantage of as well. You can visit some of our other posts to find out how to start a blog that will help move your online business forward.

I plan on really implementing this strategy heavily soon.

I have done article marketing off and on in the past and seen its effectiveness, but never truly pushed it to the max.

So meh, I figure its worth the try.

Thank you for these article marketing strategies. I use article marketing myself to promote my website and it has been great. You have suggested to use ghost writers, however I always have a tough time finding the right one. Either too expensive, or don’t write the kind of articles I want. Any ideas?

      Hi Daniel…

Unfortunately this is more of an exercise in trial and error until you find the writer you need… you are going to find that maybe one out of every 10 you test is ok, but only one out of 100 will be someone you use all the time.
