How Do I Create A Blog Online

August 26, 2009 By Ron 1 Comment

After seeing your friends family blog with all those memorable pictures and comments from friends and even strangers in some circumstances your mind starts racing and thinking that you want to know how you can keep in touch with loved ones and friends just like that online as you have seen more and more blogs doing this.

why create a blogOn top of that you have also noticed that it is very popular and maybe you are thinking about promoting your own business using a weblog.

Since this is what seems to be bringing in the business these days it’s just natural for a good business to have a corporate blog presence.

Why Create A Site Online

So what is stopping you from starting your very own blog?

Well, the first thing that has probably entered your thoughts is this “How Do I Start What Do I Need” but before we start lets talk about you having an online presence.

There are lots of great reasons to begin a blog, and here are few suggestions that will help to give you more of an online presence.

Share Great Memories With Family Or Friends

One of the reasons people start blogging is to share important information with a network of family and friends all at once. For instance, if you’re pregnant with your first child, you may want to start a blog that will chronicle all the challenges and milestones you reach during your pregnancy.

If you’re away from your parents or extended family, you can post blog photos that will show the growth of the baby (and your belly), as well as video and photos of the delivery and the new baby.

If you’re moving into a new home, you and your family can start a blog that will show your family all the steps that you’ve taken to build your home from the ground up. The blog can also include photos of the different rooms in your home, if all of your loved ones are not able to attend the housewarming that you’ve planned.

Giving Your Business A Professional Look

Starting a blog that will help potential customers to learn more about your business is also ideal. This way, people can log onto the blog at any time to find out about new products that you may be introducing.

A blog will also allow you the space to explain the philosophy behind your company, so you can express the pride that you take in your family owned company, or provide your customers with the story on how you got the idea to open your business.

Be sure to include photos of your company’s logo, as well as customer testimonials on your blog, so that more people will be attracted to the services that you have to offer.

Allowing your customers to place comments on your blog is essential, when customers or family members read the information that you’ve posted, they can respond with their own feedback and ideas. You can also add a forum feature to your blog, so that other bloggers can provide opinions on the material you’ve posted on the Web.

This may even give you ideas for how to post new information on your blog on a regular basis, so you’ll always have an active readership.

If you want to add more features to a blog that you are already managing, you can check the homepage of the blog template that you are using to find out how you can add more plugins on your blog. This is especially good for customer inter-action and for your customers to navigate around your site to become familiar with your products or services.

If however you are looking at starting your own blog for affiliate marketing purposes then you will need to have an understanding of some of these aspects of  how to make a blog such as… Or maybe you will need to know how to make a website to blog.

One Question I Have Been Asked Many Times Is This “How To Create A Website For Free”

If you are looking at blogging for business reasons then you should not be considering this option as it does not give you the online presence that you are looking for. Using a free blog site means firstly that you will not have your own domain name and that in itself will take away from the credibility of your online business, this also applies to affiliate or internet marketers stay away from free sites.

However if you are doing this just for personal reasons and you do not have any intentions of making money from your blog then by all means take this option.

This is also a good option when first starting out online with the free blog sites such as blogger.com or WordPress.com (preferred) and to learn all about building your blog so that if you are going to make mistakes and have a “failed blog” then it has cost you nothing but your own time.

Above are only some of the questions I am sure you have about taking your online interests to the next level with your own blog whether it is for business or personal reasons please ask your questions and I will or one of our many online users respond to them all.

Just want to share. I have a friend of mine been working online for how many years and i found out that she’s earning twice or thrice than a normal office employees. She generated huge or massive amounts of income though online blogging. I can say that she’s now successful with this, beacuse at her young age she invested a lot. Acquiring properties, lots and businesses.
