Yes you are right when it comes to using landing pages/squeeze pages for promotions but you also need to be very confident with Pay Per Click marketing to be successful for the inexperienced they can also lose their shirts very fast.

I do believe that some of these people just do not know where to start. Allot of the niches that they try to focus on, they do not know a whole lot about or they try to focus on a market that is saturated with competition. Insted they sould focus on what they know and/or love. this will make it easier for them to write original content and give advice, allowing them to establish themselves as reliable and/or professionals in their niche.
They can build their “Autority site” around that. And they would have the ability to write there own e-books to help market there site by offering it as a meens of an opt-in. They could also try using social-networking with back-links to rise in the rankings instead of losing their shirts to PPC advertising. On their squeeze page they need to learn the “Though the door” method. Gain the interest or trust of the consumer quickly and point them in the direction for which they came to the site.

Thanks for your comments this is a real talking point for me as I think over time many of these one or two page websites just won’t cut it anymore and you need to be concentrating on building yourself some kind of authority site so you have a platform to launch your campaigns from as an affiliate.

I couldn’t agree more! To start off with I paid a lot of money for some “group” training with someone called T.. L…, the information he supplied was totally out of date and he literally only gave half the picture! I’ve been going for a few months now and have done all kinds of reserach I’ve dicovered the importance of creating an authority site and I’m now happy to say that I’m starting to earn some money!
Its down to posts like this getting me on the right track and I’ve now started my own similar site so people avoid the same mistakes I made so hopefully that will go well!

Yes there is a lot of money being spent online to try and make it big fast… The bottom line is this…. the only way you are truly going to do this in the future is by creating a good solid site around your niche. And not spamming social networking sites or creating many different one or two page sites to point back to your money site. Simply spend the time to build a useful site and the traffic and money will come.
Online users are becoming more aware of the many tricks used to sell to them and it is more important than ever to make sure you are building trust as well as traffic to your site.
