Two Tier Affiliate Marketing

July 28, 2009 By Ron 13 Comments

Now that your affiliate marketing is growing and you have built a website that works you now need to look at two tier affiliate marketing as your next step in creating a residual income stream for your online business using two tier affiliate marketing.

two tier affiliate marketingBy getting involved in programs that offer two tier affiliate commissions you are going to be making more money, it might seem a little confusing to you right now but if you give me a minute I will explain how easy it can be.

This Is How It All Works…

You will still [romote any products the same way you always have but this time the purchaser of that product will also have the option to join the affiliate program. If that happens they will then be known to you as a sub affiliate which is what two tier affiliates are in basic terms.

So now if they are also promoting the same product, service or program that they purchased through your initial affiliate link you are also now receiving a percentage of any sales that they may make.

Yes you are reading this right every time your second tier affiliate makes a sale you are going to get paid, and better still if you are involved in a program that allows even more levels like your affiliate (sub affiliate) signs up more people you can be paid for those sales as well.

Two tier affiliate marketing programs pay you for recruiting and showing people how to make affiliate sales. You get paid whenever the affiliates underneath you sells a product or service. So of these programs only require you to refer clients such is the case of Ken Evoy’ Site Sell which is probably the most trusted program online with many of his affiliates generating $10,000 a month for two tier marketing.

Two tier affiliate marketing systems provide the opportunity for even more rapid growth of markets through secondary recruitment of affiliates.

What Is The Benefit Of Two Tier Marketing For The Merchant

Two tier affiliate marketing can significantly improve the online business of the product vendor or service provider. They not only receive additional website traffic but also gain the benefit from added sales. Two-tier is an exciting proposition for affiliates as it allows you to truly build a passive income online where as, affiliates are permitted to sign-up other affiliates below them.

Is This Legal

I know it might sound to good to be true but this is the real deal you are not breaking the law when it comes to this form of affiliate marketing. As long as the products and services you are promoting a legitimate, and NO this is not considered to be (MLM) multi-level marketing it is a completely different concept just look at the SiteSell concept and you will understand.

It might look the same to you right now but I assure you it is not you are selling good quality products through reputable vendors and all you are actually doing is recruiting affiliates for them and being paid for it. This in effect takes the difficult job away of finding affiliates to promote their products or services.

So How Much Can I Make Referring Other Affiliates

We actually and depending on the two-tier program you get involved with there is actually no limit to the amount of money that you can generate from doing this. It is totally up to you in how many sub affiliates you recruit and how well they do and you of course as to how much money you will make.

Here are some tips to help you find the right programs to join…

  1. A Quality Product Or Service
  2. A Good Rate Of Commission
  3. And Importantly A Good Conversion Rate On The Site You Are Promoting

Having these three elements in your second tier program can potentially do this for you online business… And that is your customers are yours for the life of the program and any other products they buy you will also receive a commission.

At the end of the day you as an affiliate marketer need a solid platform that will generate income for you without too much maintenance and your time, using two-tier affiliate marketing is a fantastic vehicle to help you achieve these goals. You can join the SiteSell Affiliate Program Here

How Does Lifetime Commissions Sound To You?

One of the very best programs that I have found for a two-tier program would have to be SiteSell which was created by Ken Evoy who has launched products such as Site Build It, Make Your Site Sell, Google Adsense  these products especially Site Build It are very popular and have been around for many years so Ken is trusted and so are his products.

The features of the two tier affiliate program are firstly, LIFE TIME COMMISSIONS of future products and of course the two tier commission structure and the amount of affiliates you can personally have under you.

I have tried many programs in the last nine years that make big promises about two tier affiliate marketing but never deliver, however the team at SiteSell actually over deliver in everything they do so the best thing to do is sell the actual products and the sub affiliates will follow.

Thanks for the recommendation on SiteSell. I have heard of this affiliate program as it has a very good reputation. I did not know it was a two tier program. 2 level and multiple level programs (when there is a valuable product or service involved) are terrific for residual income and I usually won’t look at anything else. Will you be giving any tips on how you promote SiteSell?

      Hi Sherry

Yes SiteSell is a really good place to start if you want to be learning about affiliate marketing and its free to get involved. There is also another program which can help you with your affiliate marketing efforts and that is Affilorama.

Thanks for your info. I’ve been an affiliate of SiteSell.com for many years and made about 700-800 or so. It really is a Rolls Royce amongst affiliate programs. Usually though the second tier associates in most programs seem to be far less motivated than yourself.. their numbers climb but little happens. One of those things in life: if you want something done well you just have to do it yourself. Work hard, I mean! Geoff D, Australia.

      Hi Geoff,

Yes Site Sell is a very good program as you have said, and I would also have to agree that the second tier can be a bit weak. However once new affiliates join it is a very good idea to shoot them an email to offer your support so that they to can start seeing the same results that you have experienced.

If they don’t take up the invitation then they were not really serious about affiliate marketing in the first place….

I’ve seen Make Knowledge Sell somewhere. There was a review on it – very positive one, I must say! But I also saw something about Site Build It that wasn’t so positive so I have to admit I’m a little bit unsure about which to go with. I definitely want to get into affiliate marketing but with so many reviews and articles about all these programs it can be very hard to know which one to choose.

      Hi Mirandra…

I think you are talking about the same business here… Make Your Knowledge Sell is actually a sub domain of Sitesell…

Hopefully this stops the confusion, you simply need to go to any business see whats on offer and and then make you decision as to whether ot not it will be suitable for you. Be careful with reviews as many people write them but have not actually used the program or service themselves.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the favored online advertising styles out there now. The two-tier commission structure sounds like it would work really well. I will look into to this.

      Hi Rachel…

Yes the two tier affiliate marketing is overlooked by many affiliates as a way to generate a constant residual income, I think maybe because of the MLM mindset.

However many of the super affiliates jump at the chance to get into two tier marketing simply because of the potential it has to make income.

Great tips! Affiliate marketing is not as hard as you think – just show your personal experience with that recurring product, like how you take advantage of it, how you benefit from it and your referral will appreciate you for helping them.

      Hi Seph

Yes you are right if you can show value in a product or service that you are promoting or better still a tactic that will make that product and service even more valuable you should see sales. However it is also important to note that you really should have used the product or service before you start promoting it.

Great information! But unlike a one tier program, there is a second layer of potential revenue. If an affiliate can persuade people (usually through their product affiliate link) to become an affiliate of their own, the original affiliate will make money on every sale their “sub-affiliate” makes.
