The simplest way for you to enhance your revenue potential is by placing Google AdSense into your website. But before we get into that you really need to know, what is Google AdSense, it is contextual advertising which delivers text-based Google AdWords ads that are relevant to the websites content pages.

What are the benefits and in what way can it boost my online revenues?

These are some of the questions which you may have on your mind, so let’s try to understand AdSense, so you can have some knowledge of the workings so it may assist you with your affiliate marketing campaign.

Merchants place their ads in Google, which is one of the more popular engines or tools for locating various resources in the World Wide Web. Now the Google AdSense program allows you to display these ads in your site and then when your visitors click-through them, you earn. The advertiser, which is the merchant pays Google for each and every click-through performed by a customer and you being a partner of Google, receive a piece of the payment.

It is said that placing Google ads on your site is also another way of getting your visitors to come back to your websites. Repeat consumers increase your profit margins without having to exert extra effort to convince them again to click-through your links on your sites.

However, the ability to earn does not depend on them solely and because as an affiliate marketer you should also have some affiliate links scattered throughout your text experiencing the best of both worlds.

If your content is tightly themed and relevant to the reader they could even refer this information onto family and friends who probably share the same interests as them, with the benefit being that they to will click on the ads which in turn will generate an income to you.

What Advertisers Are Available In The Program

Advertisers in the program can range from large international brands to small-time local businesses and even other marketers selling their e-books and services, therefore the target market for these advertisements may change too.

Using this form of marketing also adds variety to your site – thereby, attracting different kinds of users and when you attract additional users, you raise the earning possibilities too. If you are aiming at a specific nationality for your site users, don’t worry since AdSense may be utilized in many different languages.

You can also block any competing websites from advertising on your site just by entering their URL in the setup section of your Adsense account.

To raise your income through AdSense, you must pay close attention to creating niche sites with a decent theme. Make sure you are creating content that is totally related to high-paying ads, so you can make more money and yes is true that some of your ads will only pay a few cents, while if you have done your research correctly other ads may give you several dollars for only a single click of the mouse.

To get into a niche that has high paying ads you would have to do a some solid research on the topic so that you can come up with allot more relevant content and that’s the reason that you should join affiliate marketing forums, to get hints from highly experienced affiliate marketers who are using AdSense on their websites right now.

Becoming an AdSense affiliate marketer is easy and fast as long as you follow the TOS of the affiliate program, so make sure you read it and understand it first. Then you just need to apply to the Google Adsense site and once your application has been approved, you can instantly set up Adsense ads on your website and with in 15 minutes or even sooner be generating an income online.

All you have to do is copy and paste the codes that you are given into the pages. Take advantage of those favorable opportunities that the internet is constantly providing and you will make the most of your affiliate marketing efforts and by using Google AdSense you are just creating a different stream of income.

Adsense is pretty much the best ad network right now in my opinion they have the highest payout. And allow you to filter out ads that just don’t pay as much as you would like. It has it’s flaws but unless I get banned from them I see no reason to change ad networks.

Thanks for the article it was worth the read

      Hi James…

You are right about Adsense in one way however, I believe that it is now taking six months or month to get approved into the Google™ network so you need an alternative while you wait. Have you heard of Chitika it is another PPC network which is showing a lot of promise and also a good addition to any of your campaigns.

    Hey AffiliateX,

When I applied to Google Adsense I was approved within 48 hours. I had not heard that the approval process increased by so much. If that really is the waiting time then I agree that people should look for an alternative during the waiting period, it wouldn’t make sense to wait for months while sacrificing potential earnings, for another ad network.

I have not used Chitika before, maybe I’ll see whether or not it has potential when I have a site that does not completely adhere to Adsense policies.

      Hi James..

I was the same with Adsense it only took around 48hrs to get approved but that was about seven years ago now, maybe it has something to do with where you are located or even the market the you are going after, or website quality.

I have found Chitika to be very useful on other sites such as in the parenting niche but not in the affiliate marketing niche.

However we also have a youtube channel that’s not related to affiliate marketing and Google Adsense™ is actually contacting us to see if we would be interested in displaying Adsense on the youtube videos.

I think it really comes down to one thing before applying for any network, make sure you have a working site with all the “T’s” crossed and “I’s” dotted so that not just Google™ but any affiliate network has no reason to decline or postpone any application you submit.

Yes right, before it only takes 48 hours to get approve but times has changed. Because of huge demand I guess now it takes much longer.

      Hi Crissa

I am still not 100 percent convinced that they are so busy it is taking six months to get a approved, maybe it could also be a quality control they have put in place where your site has to be a certain size or very relevant to its niche. Again who knows the reasoning behind all of this when it comes to Google™.

    Hi AffiliateX!

I have read your current replay about Google Adsense. I agree too about approval. I have same result about it, and so while am waiting I look for an alternative way before the waiting period come.

      Hi George

Yes it is taking longer and longer to get accepted into Google Adsense. One thing you need to make sure of is that you have all the requirements in place that Adsense require such as a Privacy which states Google’s Double Click Dart Statement. And all make sure you have quality content and the site does not just have spammy content.

You simply follow the TOS of Google Adsense and wait there is nothing else you can do except spend that time building your site into a traffic magnet.
