Why You Should Still Be Writing Marketing Articles

May 12, 2011 By Ron Leave a Comment

So why write marketing articles?

Firstly and most importantly this is still the best way to get your business indexed in the search engines as well as giving it much more exposure for very little cost. There are a few ways that you can create your articles for marketing those being, writing the article yourself or outsourcing to have the article written for you.

There are also many websites online today that provide article writing services. If you want to know some of these sites just post a comment below and I will list them for you.

As an affiliate you will want to write marketing articles to build traffic, promote your affiliated products or services and to appear as the expert in your niche market. To do this you need to know your niche market well so you can create articles that are trusted and gain a lot of social influence online.

How To Write Marketing Articles

write marketing articles The article is going to have to be informative and consistent for the reader to find any benefit. This means you should not be writing your article with nothing more than copied content or information that is not very tightly themed to the title of the article.

You need to be thinking about what you like to read and then use those same principles to engage the audience by making your article easy to understand.

Your article also needs to solve or lead into solving a problem for the reader to make it very effective.

To whole goal of your wanting to write marketing articles is to leave the reader wanting more, that way you will be virtually guaranteed that they will click on the link you have supplied in the article to come to your site to find out more.

How To Write Marketing Articles And Keyword Selection

When you write your marketing articles you need to ensure that it is of a good quality so much so that you would place this article on your own website. That is why it is advisable to use your keywords correctly. When doing this you will be choosing two keywords or keyword phrases which are know as the primary keyword and secondary keyword.

You are doing this so that your article will appear in the selected search results and you are attracting the right people to the information your are writing about.

Making Your Article Marketing More Social

This is more for those that have a blog with links coming in from the marketing articles you have written and then published on various sites across the internet.

Once you see the pingback come in to your blog site you should then spend a few minutes submitting that link into a the social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Twitter and StumbleUpon or even submitting it to RSS directories this will help your article as well as the links from that article  get indexed much faster.

For WordPress blog owners there are Wp Plugins that can do this for you such as Pingback Optimizer.

You Will Gain Authority And Trust When You Write Marketing Articles

If you write a compelling article that your readers enjoy and find useful this will have a huge effect on how you are viewed online. Having the trust of your potential website visitors means you are more likely to make a sale or get an opt-in simply because the article has already made you the authority.

Once you have achieved a solid following from your article marketing you can then also approach other blog owners to have your article posted to their blogs which is even a more effective way of getting very targeted links to your site.

What About Page Rank

Can I say this, “Forget About Page Rank”, you are not going to write marketing articles to simply get page rank there is way to much authority put on a little green bar in your browser. You are doing this simply to become an authority in your niche, once that happens you will find that other sites are linking to your site content giving you more natural links which is what the “Big G” wants to see.

I am not saying that there will not be any benefit, what I am saying is for you not to focus on page rank as your sole intention to write marketing articles.

Focus on providing quality content full of helpful information and the rest will follow when writing marketing articles.
