How Affiliates Can Earn Money Without A Website

January 1, 2010 By Ron 5 Comments

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money on the internet without any overhead expenses, what if you could even earn money without a website.

An affiliate program gives you the opportunity to earn a commission from a sale. There are also affiliate programs that pay you per lead with a set rate.

Earn Money Without A WebsiteMost internet entrepreneurs who are only a fancy name for affiliate marketers usually set up their landing page or build a full-blown website to market one affiliate program or many. There are website owners who run businesses who only sell affiliate products.

Then some bloggers post content after content promoting a particular affiliate program in their blog posts or sidebar advertising. To earn money without a website online can be exciting and with the right affiliate programs, you can make some extra cash!

To Make Money Without A Website, You Need To Find The Right Niche Market

The first step is to find a topic that you are genuinely interested in. The topic you choose will be related to the affiliate program you are going to be promoting. Choosing something that you know a lot about or are interested in is the best place to start as it will be easier for you to write about.

A Good keyword tool to use and which personally use to enter into any niche markets is Power Suggest Pro.

You Need To Right Affiliate Program

Researching to find an affiliate program to promote can be fun. You will see that there are so many to choose from that you could have trouble deciding which one to go with at the start. Many say that you should always select an affiliate program that offers a generous percentage.

However, before you dive in a grab the first high paying program, you need to know how many others are competing in this market.

If you choose an affiliate program that only offers 3% on a sale, that could lead to disappointment with profit expectations unless you have a massive amount of traffic. One of the best places for any new affiliate to start is ClickBank.com which is a top-rated affiliate program that offers many affiliate ideas for those who are looking to make more significant commissions.

Many of the popular affiliate e-books are here with some being 75% with possibly the average around 50% commission for each sale you make through your link. Do your research and find an affiliate program that you feel comfortable with and has good potential with your selected niche topic of choice.

Always Do Market Research Before Committing Your Time And Effort

To sell any of your affiliate products without using a website, you will need to write quality articles on the topic that you have chosen. You can start doing this by researching keywords for the topic that people do searches for on a daily basis. For example, if you chose the topic of dog obedience, you would want to research what dog owners specifically search for on dog obedience.

Make Sure You Use Your Keywords Effectively

Using these keywords in your article will allow search engines to pick up your articles if the content is of good quality. Your articles should be informative and quality content that your readers are looking for usually to help solve a problem. Make sure to target your articles to the market you are promoting your affiliate program too.

Always Include Your Affiliate Links In The Article

Your affiliate link should be included in the article or at the end of the article in your author’s bio. Always make sure the hyperlink is correct and try them out yourself. There is nothing worse than having an affiliate link that is misspelt or not working.

If you decide that you also want to be using other free resources to promote you can quickly set up a site on Blogger, WordPress, HubPages or even Tumblr that you can then very promptly post your content to, however, you will find that you are only allowed two links to the same domain in HubPages and only a few in the other web 2.0 networks which is virtually the same as article writing.

When you have written a handful of quality articles that are related to your niche topic and proofread each of them so that there are no errors, then you are ready to distribute them. You will be submitting your articles to free article directories, or you can be doing guest posts on other quality blogs within your niche market that allow at least one link back to your site.

These article directories are popular with website owners and visited by hundreds if not thousands daily. After submitting them to the article directories, you can post the article link on blog comments, message boards and your email signature to bring even more readers to your articles and whatever affiliate programs you are promoting.

Hopefully, this has given you some great ideas to start to earn money without a website.

Well it is easy to tell who has been online for a while and who hasn’t. You have really hit all the important factors of a successful affiliate marketing campaign. The two things you talked about which I have found most important is finding a niche market and keyword research. Great post you really know what you are talking about.

      Yes Kris…

I don’t know how many times I have read in forums about people who are struggling online, and when you ask them what research they did before starting the online business sadly the answer is none. If you want to stand any chance at all of making any money online you need to do the research first this is so important but many people simply neglect it.

I think there is an attitude online that if you build it they will come and a lot of hyped up products actually promote this. It is not true and it will not work… Do you research choose a good domain name put a marketing strategy in place and you will see results.
