Why Facebook Is A Marketing Genius

August 12, 2010 By Ron Leave a Comment

Facebook would have to be one of the l most popular social networks found on the internet today has joined in the need to advertise on the pages of its users.

You Should Have A Serious Look At Social Marketing

Facebook MarketingFacebook marketing has become an ever-growing means for people to advertise a large range and diversity of products and services.

As the internet world continues to join the Facebook craze, online marketers as well as affiliates are finding a way to also capitalize on this popular craze.

And we will call it a craze because it is well past being a simple fad considering how it now competes with sites like Google in terms of traffic.

What makes this an even more powerful tool; Facebook is available throughout the world, in a variety of languages depending on where it is being hosted. Moreover, it is not just products and services that use this to advertise.

Members of Facebook themselves can post advertisements for the general public to view.

Whether a Facebook member is looking to change their profile picture to a cartoon or sketch, find cheap eye-wear, get a humorous piece of clothing, or even files for bankruptcy, there is a marketing section for them.

While some of the links are very easy to navigate in order for the viewer to find what has caught their attention, there are some links that can leave a Facebook member in frustration.

One can find them self searching, giving out tonnes of personal details for nothing more than an email with generic information about a service. The marketing firms have found their niche but have yet to perfect the delivery.

How This Type Of  Marketing Has Gone Viral

While the creators of Facebook are always working out the bugs of their own links on the website, it’s hard to find an external source that doesn’t have a little blue button that says “share on Facebook”.

If you don’t believe me just take a look at a post your own blog, and I guarantee unless you are living under a rock you have a link there saying share on Facebook. Facebook is every where online right now and it looks like it is only going to get bigger.

That’s right; the Facebook marketing people have obviously created many allies in the World Wide Web as links to Facebook are one of the most predominant things found on external websites.

Facebook Marketing Has Every Topic Covered

Once again it appears that there is no topic or service that has been left out of the phenomena. The Facebook links can be found on everyday websites for downloading music or movies, dating services, and other things of basic simplicity.

However, that little blue hyper-link to share on Facebook is also found in some lesser common places such as websites for paranormal activities and even cemeteries, thus proving the hard work and effort of the marketing team within Facebook.

In an ever-growing form of Social Media, the marketing firms have certainly found a way to find yet another standard in order to reach consumers.

With the likes of Google, Bing, Yahoo and even the newer DuckDuckGo as well many other mainstream websites, the prevalence of advertising and marketing have certainly been equaled by the Facebook marketing team.
