Easy To Follow Article Marketing Tips

May 13, 2011 By Ron 6 Comments

Are you looking for a new way to make money online?

Are you experienced in writing articles?

If so, you’ll need to start following some article marketing tips in order to start bringing in some extra money for your online business. These tips will give you a great online presence, and will help your business to grow sooner than you think.

A Catchy Headline Is Needed With Article Marketing

Tips For Article Marketing One of the first article marketing tips you should follow is to write headlines for your articles that are attention-getting. The title and headline have to pull the readers in and grab their interest immediately. This way, your readers will actually spend time reading the rest of the article.

This also means that you’ll need to make sure that your articles are concise and informative without being too wordy.

The Opening Description Of Your Article Needs To Be Powerful

Other article marketing tips include writing a strong lead. Your lead is your opening paragraph or sentence, and it has to be powerful. Make sure that the first paragraph of your article answers the right questions. Think about the 5 W’s–who, what, when, where, and why–and how.

Remember that your actual content is very important. Don’t fill your articles with lots of fluff just to satisfy your word count requirements. All of your articles should be focused on some aspect of the products or services that you’re offering.

Always Use A Call To Action In Your Articles

When you’re writing articles, you should make sure that your readers have a call to action when they’re done reading. This is one of the most important article marketing tips you can follow when you’re writing for the Web. You can add your URL for your personal website, blog, or company site into your article if this is allowed by the article database.

This will show readers that it is important to start using your product or service right away.

Why Your Article Marketing Is An Ongoing Process

Other article marketing tips include making sure that you’re submitting content on a regular basis. It’s not wise to just submit a batch of articles and then forget about the marketing aspect of your business.

Try submitting at least one article a week, so that readers will get used to seeing your name and material. When you create your profile and bio for the article database that you’re using, make sure that you include the website for your business.

This way, readers can get in touch with you if they need you to complete other jobs in which the profits will go directly toward your business. Article marketing today is all about getting exposure for your business.

    Ron,

I really don’t believe that people understand the power of a great headline. How much that can increase their article open rate and increase the likelihood of their article going viral. You have great points
    here.

I would, also, like to add that you need to write a great synopsis. After the article title, people read synopsis to get a feel for your article. The mistake is to leave it blank or use the first three sentences of the article.

      Hi Mike

Yes you are right, once you have your great headline if the opening few sentences do not hold the attention of the reader then all your efforts will be wasted. Make sure you add all the important points early in your article and you should retain a good amount of your readers.

Another good way to do this is actually relate the article to your own experiences as everyone likes a good story which includes such things as your failures and your achievements.
