I agree with Ron. If you’re serious about blogging you need to use self-hosted WordPress installed on your own domain. If you need to know who can install it for you or what hosting company to use ask Ron here and if he needs more options for you he will let me know to offer them.

The fastest way to get any new site indexed is to link to it from a blog that gets crawled quickly. Commenting here might even do the trick but what we usually do is link to a new blog from our most active existing blog so when it next gets crawled by the search engines the new site gets found too.

Many free sites are considered poor quality and do not index well so submitting to them may be more detrimental than beneficial. We would have to know what types of sites you mean and which specific sites to tell you for sure.

Blogging Best Practices are far more complicated than most new bloggers (or even experienced bloggers) realize so I encourage everyone to get a mentor and ask questions on sites like Ron’s and mine. We can save you tons of time and help you get your blog established much faster.

Have you tried to get some exposure on the social networking sites such as Twitter? What about offering a guest post on sites that are related to you market. You need to get some links to your site, my personal advice is if you want to do this seriously then get your own domain name and hosting and move away from Blogspot.

If you decide to go with your own site I would also suggest you use a WordPress blog. And make sure you are only using quality content and write a post at minimum once a week preferably to start three times a week.
