Yes you are right there are people who will not use the internet to buy or even look for products preferring the more conventional ways such as phone books and newspapers. Some can be converted over but I think it is more of a fear of change rather than not wanting to use the internet.

Once people get into a comfort zone it is very hard to move them unless you can show them huge benefits.

Today there are many different strategies you can use to promote your affiliate programs, you simply need to test what works for you market. This could be a Facebook page or using Twitter maybe even doing guest posts will help you make those affiliate sales. Every niche market is different and you need to be able to adapt until you find the right combination that makes you money.

Yes the more content you have on your site the more social influence you can generate which in turn should bring in more traffic to your site. if you choose your products wisely then you could also have the benefit of making a income for your efforts.

Yes many people online don’t realize the importance of promoting online as well as offline both go hand in hand. Unfortunately many believe that simply building a website is enough to find success and never explore other avenues to get there products or services in front of potential buyers.

allthough i would strongly say that having a large website that ranks well in the search engines is the cash bringer. it’s not an easy task, but if you can generate origianl content on a daily basis and offer great products for a great price, there is no reason why it wouldnt work.

There is one thing you have stated in your post that is very important, and that many don’t seem to realize. This word is “FOCUS” you need to be totally focused on everything you are trying to achieve online or you will most likely fail at what you are doing.

You are on the right track with choosing very targeted keywords for your sites which relate to your products you are going to promote. So from what you are saying is that you are going to be building mini-sites, can I ask if they are blogs or Static HTML sites?

Remember one thing though Michael if you are building a site on the free services such as Blogger™ you do not own it, and with a policy change such as what happened on Squidoo some time back you could loose all of your hard work and your commissions, never place all your eggs into one basket.
